DIY Tissue Paper Ice Cream Decor♥

What is up you guys!

Recently, we hosted an ice cream social for our neighborhood, and I made these adorable ice cream decorations that got quite a bit of comments! These can be made into a banner,  you could hang them up (I hung them along the edge of an umbrella), or just to have around. I love to share these fun diy’s with y’all, so let’s get to it!

Grab you supplies ,which would be:Tissue paper, brown craft paper, scissors, hot glue gun, and a pencil/marker/etc.

Measure and draw a 5 in. “v” and then draw an arc over the top.

Cut out the “v” and roll into cone shape. Hot glue the edge together.

Cut a single piece of tissue paper and mold into a “scoop” shape by folding in the outside corners to the middle.

This is how one of my “scoops” turned out

Hot glue the bottom to maintain the shape.

Set aside the scoop. Now, make an “okay” sign with your hands and stuff 1/4 of a single piece of tissue paper into your hands as if it were the cone. Next, put that piece of tissue paper in the bottom of cone.

Hot glue the first scoop on.

Create a second scoop and hot glue that on as well.

Just make as many as needed and……VOILA!

Using fishing wire and thread, I hung the decorations from our outside umbrella. Just a cute addition to the party!

The ice cream social was so much fun (and tasty)!

Thank you for visiting! I hope you love this DIY as much as I do!

Until Next Time,
